Ravana Falls is one of the widest and most popular waterfalls in Sri Lanka, located near Ella along the Ella–Wellawaya road. Cascading from a height of about 25 meters, the waterfall forms multiple tiers as water flows over rocky cliffs surrounded by lush greenery. It is closely connected to the legendary Ramayana story, where it is believed that King Ravana hid Princess Sita in the nearby Ravana Cave. During the rainy season, the waterfall becomes especially powerful and spectacular. Easily accessible from the roadside, Ravana Falls is a favorite stop for travelers, offering beautiful views and a refreshing natural atmosphere. 🌿💧
